Drawing Landscape with Clouds in Perspective:
Exterior Perspective/Clouds: This outdoor scene uses the same one point perspective as an interior scene as shown in another exercise. Like any composition, it can be made as complex as you wish. By using one vanishing point, (one point perspective) all the objects relate to one another. You can use this point to draw an entire scene. Cloud forms are not as geometrically shaped as other objects, but they easily can be proportioned using several guidelines and the one vanishing point (VP). The clouds, fence posts, hay bales, bushes, plowed field rows, and trees are all controlled by only one vanishing point placed on the horizon line. All objects, including clouds become smaller as they move away from us and into the scene. The closer they are to the horizon line, the farther away they appear in the composition.
