Workshop - Class Exercise - 3-22-04 - Hawaiian Sunset
Use
these photos as a reminder of the details that were demonstrated
in class.
As I said in class, you can spend as much time as you wish bringing the amount of final detail in your painting to your own personal satisfaction.

Detail example at right of the wind blown palm trees we painted together. Remember, paint in only a small amount of the warm highlights. Place them last on the light source side only

Remember that we softened the foam into the distant headlands and placed a little surface foam sliding into the crevices in the rocks.
I hope these shots will refresh your memory and assist you in bringing your painting to just the right final.
I enjoyed painting with you all!
Best wishes in your painting,
William F. Powell
